Primary Function

To be used as an air extractor in potentially explosive environments contaminated by small airborne particles. Expelled air is naturally replaced by clean atmospheric air to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Markets

Designed as a portable extraction fan for on-site work in confined spaces when using spray painting processes.

Equally useful for any environment where airborne contaminates are present.

Basic Design

A high airflow axial fan, driven by an explosion proof motor, mounted in a portable wheeled case. An inlet filter, fitted to capture airborne particles from the extracted air, and a long length of flexible ducting to safely transport the cleaned air away from the working area to atmosphere.

• Filter pad to EU5 standard. Simple velcro fastening filter retaining straps.

• Extendable/retractable flexible ducting mounted on a fixed transport tube. 6m fully extended, 0.5m fully retracted.

• “Periscope” duct providing filtered air for motor cooling and maintaining a solid barrier to the main airflow thereby extending motor cleanliness.

• Certified anti-static main wheels.

• flameproof cable glands throughout.

• 6m flexible supply cable.

• Braked castors for secondary wheels.

• Easily removable lid giving full access for fan blade and motor inspection and maintenance.

• Hinged main filter tube to reduce overall machine length when not in use. Particularly useful to reduce footprint when transporting.
